This small-group tour from Miami offers a diverse Everglades experience, combining an airboat ride, an alligator farm visit, and stops at unique local landmarks. With a maximum of 13 travelers, it’s designed for those who want to explore South Florida’s wild landscapes and rural culture in a single outing. Pickup is included from select Miami or Miami Beach locations, making it convenient for visitors staying in the city.

The day begins with a drive into the heart of the Everglades, during which your guide shares details about the region’s ecosystems and intriguing stories about its history. Upon arrival, you’ll board an airboat for a 25-minute ride, skimming along the waterways while learning about the plants and animals that inhabit this subtropical wilderness. The commentary from your guide adds depth to the scenery and brings the Everglades to life.

After the airboat adventure, the group visits an alligator farm, where you’ll be guided by expert rangers through the habits and biology of these iconic reptiles. The highlight is a live feeding demonstration, offering an up-close look at the alligators’ behavior and the care protocols in place. There’s also the chance to pose for a photo with a baby alligator, always under the watchful supervision of trained staff. The experience continues with a self-guided nature walk, where you can observe various reptiles and possibly spot more wildlife in their natural setting.

Next, you’ll stop at the entrance sign of Everglades National Park for photos before heading into the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center. Here, you’ll have time to explore exhibits that showcase the park’s history, wildlife, and unique geographical features. This is your opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Everglades through interactive displays and scenic viewpoints.

The tour also makes a stop at Robert Is Here, a beloved South Florida farm known for its welcoming atmosphere and local products. Here, you can see and interact with farm animals, browse a selection of regional produce, and, if you wish, purchase fresh tropical fruits or handmade milkshakes. Relax in the rural surroundings, take photos, and enjoy an authentic taste of Florida farm life before returning to Miami.

Included in the tour are bottled water, snacks, and transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle. Lunch is not provided, but you’ll have the opportunity to purchase food at Robert Is Here. Gratuities are not required but are appreciated if you feel the service is exceptional. Everything else, including entrance fees and activities described, is included in your booking.

Throughout your journey, you’ll travel through the Everglades’ distinctive wetland landscapes, with opportunities to spot alligators, birds, and other native species.
