This Miami tour is a unique blend of wildlife discovery and sandbar relaxation, perfect for anyone seeking both adventure and a classic beach day. The journey begins at Venetian Marina, where you’ll board an AquaPartyBoat for a guided cruise through Biscayne Bay. With a maximum of 40 guests, it’s a lively, shared experience offering both comfort and a chance to meet fellow explorers.
Your adventure starts with a scenic voyage across the turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay. As you travel, take in sweeping views of the Miami skyline, pass by waterfront mansions, and watch for dolphins and manatees that frequent these coastal waters. The atmosphere is laid-back, with shaded seating and bottled water provided onboard to keep you comfortable.
The first stop is Raccoon Island, also known as Sandspur Island, a small mangrove oasis famous for its resident raccoon population. Here, you’ll step ashore for a short, guided walk led by the crew. Learn about the island’s wildlife and ecosystem, observe the raccoons up close in their natural habitat, and snap memorable photos during this rare Miami encounter. The guided walk ensures visitors get an insider’s view of this unusual island environment.
Next, the boat heads to Haulover Sandbar, Miami’s iconic shallow-water gathering spot. The captain anchors in crystal-clear water, giving you time to swim, float on provided inflatables, or simply relax and soak up the sun. The sandbar’s lively atmosphere makes this a favorite for both locals and visitors, offering a true taste of Miami’s outdoor lifestyle before you reboard for the return cruise.
Your booking includes the guided wildlife walk on Raccoon Island, the swim stop at Haulover Sandbar, the Biscayne Bay sightseeing cruise, bottled water, shaded onboard seating, and access to floats. Alcoholic drinks are available to purchase at the onboard bar, and food or additional beverages can be added with certain ticket options. Lunch is not included unless specifically selected, and a gratuity for the crew is required.
All of the action unfolds within Biscayne Bay, a vibrant stretch of water known for its tropical islands, wildlife, and panoramic views of Miami’s skyline. You’ll cruise past exclusive Indian Creek Village—nicknamed the "Billionaire Bunker"—and admire the luxury homes and lush scenery that define this iconic coastal area.
The tour meets at Venetian Marina & Yacht Club, Pier 3, where AquaPartyBoat vessels are clearly marked for easy check-in. The experience is led in English and is suitable for most fitness levels, but is not recommended for pregnant guests, those with spinal injuries, or poor cardiovascular health. Service animals are welcome, and the marina is accessible by public transport. Remember to bring a swimsuit and sun protection for your adventures on the water.
